What is Fringu.com?
Fringu.com helps you to create your own customized ringtones for your mobile from your own audio files.
What formats does Fringu support?
Currently only mp3 files are supported.
How to use the ringtone maker?

What bit rate mp3’s does Fringu support?
Currently mp3 files with bit rate up to 256 Kbps are supported.
The ringtone maker does not show any waveform after I upload my audio file?
Either you have an older version of Flash player or you have uploaded mp3 file with more than 256 Kbps.
Fringu supports only Flash player version 10 or above. Please download the latest version here and restart your browser.

How to download the ringtone directly to my Mobile?
Open your browser in your mobile and navigate to http://www.fringu.com/mobile and enter the Fringu ringtone Id in the text box given and click download.
You will have to be connected to the internet on your mobile (wifi or GPRS) to use this feature. When using GPRS Internet connection your Mobile provider may charge you for the internet service.
How can I transfer my downloaded ringtone to my mobile?
After downloading the ringtone to your desktop you can transfer the ringtone to your mobile using the data transfer cable provided to your along with your Mobile handset.
Is it legal to upload and share my ringtones?
As long as you upload the songs you own and create ringtones from your own content its 100% legal. As per Fringu's Terms of Service you should own the original actual content for which you want to download a ringtone or other derivate media.
